Caltron has just released the HBT-1042O, 10.4-inch Open Frame High Bright LED Monitor, which is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. The operating temperature is greater than a typical Caltron LCD monitor, allowing the high bright unit to withstand harsher environments and have a more diverse operating capability. The HBT-1042O has touch screen options as well as added input options. The dimensions and shape of the unit are the same as Caltron’s FBT-1042O and LBT-1042O, making the installation of the HBT-1042O into a pre-existing enclosure easier to do without the need for modifications.

The HBT-1042O is particularly suited to outdoor environments where higher brightness monitor are often required for the display content to be more readily visible in the sun. Its durable chassis and similar features of Caltron’s original FBT series monitors minimize mechanical changes during the lifetime of the unit. The HBT-1042O is suitable for industrial or commercial applications, including CNC machines, kiosks, gaming machines and industrial controls.
