Antoine Saint Maur, technical director and solution designer for Arsenal Media, says Digital Signage Expo is the place to see the evolution "step by step" of the digital signage industry and the acceptance of new digital out-of-home technologies.



Digital signs are becoming more intelligent, and user experiences are growing through touchscreens, interactive screens, mobile, Microsoft Kinect technology, kiosks, mobile apps and social media, Saint Maur says in this six-minute video from Digital Signage Expo 2012.

One thing that Arsenal Media tries to do, he said, was mix different kinds of media — such as augmented reality, touchscreens and other new, fun, interactive technologies — in what the company calls "digital destinations," to best spread the message in a custom format for its clients.
