The U.K.’s largest digital out-of-home media owner, Amscreen, today announced a deal with INRIX — a provider of traffic information, directions and driver services. The deal will see INRIX take over as the provider of traffic information across the entire Amscreen network.
INRIX is well-suited as a partner for Amscreen because it provides data across a wide range of regions, including Europe, Australia, the Middle East and Africa. With the Amscreen network constantly expanding, including recent installations across Europe and Australia, INRIX’s technology, combined with its accuracy and flexibility, is the perfect provider to facilitate the media owner’s global expansion.
Amscreen is offers a robust, end-to-end digital signage solution via its unique wireless plug-and-play technology. Its networks broadcast from 3,500 sites across the U.K. and are an effective communication tool for clients such as BP, Shell and WH Smith and a range of blue-chip advertisers such as Coca Cola, Ford, Sky, Visa and BT.
As well as operating in petrol, convenience, leisure and travel locations, Amscreen provides screens to the health care industry. Its health care network uses revolutionary software to provide customers with the ability to create and broadcast their own messages that can be viewed in prime dwelling areas such as waiting rooms, corridors and coffee shops.
Amscreen recently expanded Europe following a deal with BP Europe SE that will see digital signage screens installed in forecourts across the continent in Germany, Poland, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Austria.
