Gary Halpin
President
Agency 225
As a producer for Blockbuster Entertainment in 1991, Mr. Halpin developed the Blockbuster Entertainment Network into one of the most successful Point-of-Sale TV networks in the industry. With viewership that grew to 90 million impressions per month in 6,000 stores throughout North America, the program increased rentals by an average of 16%, as well as becoming a new revenue center via ad sales.
In 1996, Mr. Halpin co-founded RMS Networks, and helped launch their production into the automotive parts marketplace, where their network ran in more than 2,400 Advanced Auto Parts stores. Agency 225 since has developed & consulted on networks with and for Movie Gallery, Hollywood Video, HCX Salons, Fantastic Sam’s, Ford, Mazda, Petco, Nicorette’s traveling NASCAR exhibit, as well as others that are currently being worked on under NDA agreements.
While Agency 225 does offer a complete turnkey solution for their Point-of-Sale TV networks (through strategic partnerships), their primary function is creative and content production. Now partnered with a former Creative Director from J Walter Thompson Advertising Agency, they have more than 15 years experience in Digital Signage as well as advertising. It is this combination that sets Agency 225 apart from its competition and allows them to develop a content strategy with the client that ties into their overall marketing and IMC pushes. They feel it is the missing link that will help the digital signage industry develop into what it should be – an extremely powerful force in the marketing and advertising worlds.
