Laura Davis-Taylor, SVP, Managing Director, heads up ShopWork, BBDO and Proximity’s shopper marketing capability that focuses on creating selling influence across all shopper touch points. Helping clients turn shoppers into buyers amidst today’s ever-changing retail landscape, ShopWork is key new resource for both agencies.
Laura’s background makes her ideally suited to lead this service offering. She is a retail strategist who has spent over 20 years focused on cross-channel experiential marketing and branding. She began on the agency side as a planner, an account manager and an integrated digital media specialist. She then jumped into retail store design, joining Miller Zell as a VP and working with such well-known retailers as Circuit City and Wal-Mart. From there, she founded her own retail consultancy, Retail Media Consulting, dedicated to creating digital communications and experiences that truly bridge the shopper journeys between home, life and store. Over the years, Laura has worked with other packaged goods clients and retailers such as AT&T, Best Buy, Coke, L’Oréal/Lancôme, Lowe’s, Office Depot, Russell Athletic and Unilever.
Laura is a board member of the Digital Signage Expo, Retail TouchPoints and Google’s Shopper Marketing Agency Advisory Council. She is a well-known industry voice and speaker and writes the retail technology column for Digital Signage Magazine. Her book, “Lighting up the Aisle: Practices and Principles for In-store Digital Media,” was released in 2007.
