Posterscope bolstered its leadership team with the appointment of Emily Young as group business director, the company announced. Young, who will also take a seat on the board, returns to the out-of-home (OOH) communications agency that forged her highly successful career.
Formerly communications planning associate director at Carat, her new role will see her lead a team tasked with delivering innovative outdoor advertising campaigns and take on overall responsibility for Carat and Vizeum’s OOH brand planning and buying.
As a member of the board, she will work alongside senior management to deliver Posterscope’s vision for the future of the outdoor industry, while exploring new data-driven — and digitally empowered — OOH solutions to help drive business value for clients.
Young joined Posterscope as a graduate in 2009, and rose rapidly through the ranks to become the agency’s youngest-ever client director after just three years. During this time, she delivering award-winning campaigns for a variety of clients, including easyjet, KFC, Barclays, Channel 4, EDF Energy and Camelot.
