SignStix®, the award-winning digital engagement platform, is set to return to Retail Business Technology Expo (RBTE) for the third year running.
Armed with a number of brand new digital innovations for the retail sector, SignStix® will showcase various interactive touchpoints and applications which can be combined to deliver a fully integrated, personalised and dynamic digital store journey.
Joining Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions on their stand (#577) alongside hardware partner Selectronic, SignStix® will demonstrate how retailers can improve the customer shopping journey in-store through different levels of digital engagement, right from entering the store through to product selection and point of sale. These innovations are all built and managed centrally from SignStix’s® cloud-based platform for content creation, management and deployment.
The SignStix® and Toshiba Retail teams will also be offering live demos of SignStix’s® platform, which snapped up four awards last year including ‘Best Cloud Service’ and ‘Outstanding Innovation.’
As part of the line up, there will be a SignStix®-powered interactive product display, complete with a touch-enabled product guide that has been fully integrated with digital shelf edge and dynamic lighting. The interactive display has
been specifically built to lead customers on a personalised journey, and fuses together the online and offline shopping experiences.
All of the featured integrations have been built using SignStix’s® digital signage API, which facilitates direct integration with third-party systems. The display demonstrates how retailers are able to deliver highly personalised, data-driven experiences with ease – with the API catering for rapid changes in digital content based on various triggers (such as stock information or weather).

SignStix® has also integrated with Toshiba’s TCx™ Elevate POS applications for complete store automation.

In addition to the interactive showcase, SignStix® will also be offering live demonstrations of their ‘Commander’ application – a unique tool that allows store managers to dynamically update digital content according to real-time scenarios. Retailers will be able to come and interact with the app and perform live content takeovers on the Toshiba stand.
