PORTLAND, OREGON — Greater Portland Inc is pleased to welcome 10net, an innovator in digital signage, to our region. The Vancouver, B.C.-based company will bring more than a dozen high-tech jobs to Portland as it launches its U.S. presence.
10net engineers, builds and operates digital media infrastructure, providing clients such as Lululemon, Bosa Development, QuadReal, and Subaru with state-of-the art digital experiences. The full-service company continues to provide support for its products after installation with its managed services offering.
The company office in Portland’s Central Eastside will house design technicians and engineers, and is slated to open before the end of the year. The new location will be managed by Shannon Vander Giessen, who has more than 15 years of industry experience and previously worked at Beaverton’s Planar Systems and Philadelphia-area Scala.
“10net has been actively installing digital experiences in the USA since 2008 without a formal presence of team members,” said 10net CEO Dan Hagen. “We couldn’t be more excited that Shannon has agreed to lead our USA Team and equally excited to be centered in the heart of creativity of Portland. Our expectations are supercharged with the vibrancy and support that has welcomed us into our new home! Thank you, Portland!”
10net’s recruitment was supported by Business Oregon, Prosper Portland and Worksystems Inc. The firm’s choice to invest in Greater Portland was influenced by the region’s low cost of doing business, exceptional livability and culture of fostering a robust creative class.
“Our region was a natural choice for 10net,” said Janet LaBar, president and CEO of Greater Portland Inc. “The ecosystem that has grown to support our thriving software and media sector is evident in our rich talent pool and continued stream of venture capital. We’re eager to see innovators like 10net build and grow here.”
