What are some effective ways to future-proof your content?

“Content” means a lot of things. Videos, images, interactive messaging and data-driven HTML5 come to mind. One challenge with video and interactive content is that they are time-consuming and costly to create and update, especially when dealing with live video production.

We commonly promote HTML5 solutions whenever possible because we can connect this to remote APIs or CMS-delivered feeds to make content updates a breeze for anyone, even in a web browser. This does require upfront programming, but when done correctly, screens can have highly animated content with feeds that update automatically.

There’s no “future-proofing” needed with this type of approach. Content is always fresh!
