What was the biggest takeaway from Digital Signage Expo 2017 that you’ve been able to use or implement in the months since the show?”
In several of the sessions, I heard presenters talking about the strategy for digital signs in your deployment. I was very challenged by the higher-level question and purpose for our service on campus. I have used this to initiate conversations about why we do what we do, and have been able to better discuss with departments who are rolling out signage to better define their purpose. When we have an idea of what we are doing, and a better understanding of the context in which eyes are on the screen, the content has greater chance of making an impact.
