What was the biggest takeaway from Digital Signage Expo 2017 that you’ve been able to use or implement in the months since the show?”
The biggest takeaway for me from DSE 2017 was the continued evolution of the technology, and how that technology exists across a broad range of products. While the focus is on the eye-candy (the screens), the partner solutions that were showcased by the manufacturers was impressive. Whether you were a newbie on the floor for the first time or someone on the other end of the ecosystem who may be a little longer in the tooth, there was an array of solutions out there for every vertical. The ecosystem is evolving to support the growing spectrum of verticals now using digital signage to reach the connected consumer as well as employees in the workplace, and that is exciting.
