What was the biggest takeaway from Digital Signage Expo 2017 that you’ve been able to use or implement in the months since the show?”

For a public agency, change and implementation are measured in years, not months. With that in mind, the one thing that we were able to do immediately was to work with the information booths and ask them what type of information THEY would like to see displayed on the digital signage. As I was walking around the show floor looking at analytics, some of the vendors told me to also include the opinions of the non-customers (our employees) and working with them should make our signage more in line with the single voice, single message that we are striving to project.
