What are the criteria for picking a CMS amongst the myriad of options out there?

Although cost and scalability are important in choosing any CMS, the most critical consideration should be the interface and how easy it will be to use. After the bills are paid, navigating the dashboard on a daily basis needs to be an intuitive experience. Be certain it is the right fit for you and your team.

Ways to accomplish this include requesting a demo and checking company references. Talk to others with the same system.  Trust your gut. If it is difficult to understand during the demo, the longer it will take to train on and use. Log in accessibility from a phone, tablet, laptop or other device will also ensure that updates to content can be managed at a moment’s notice.
