What do you value most about Digital Signage Expo (DSE), and why do you come back every year and recommend that your peers return as well?”
I’ve been attending DSE for the past 10 years and have seen the industry dramatically change during that time. I believe it’s hard to bear witness to that change without experiencing it first-hand, given that there is only so much information you can consume through reading. After all, this is an industry that thrives on visual engagement! The greatest value of DSE is the exposure you have to technology, the ability to touch, to see and to engage with those companies on the threshold of innovation. I greatly value seeing the technology through my own lens and being able to question what it is capable of doing by those who develop it.
DSE is a given for my team and me every year! We look forward to the conference and seeing what awaits us as we step onto the floor. What you need to understand is that DSE offers more beyond the Expo floor. The education is extremely valuable because, not only do you have the opportunity to listen to other practitioners and learn from their experience, but the advice we get is also critical to how we grow and work on our next project. There is also the general interaction with the industry – so many talented and engaging personalities all gathered together for the same purpose of relishing in the success of the industry. DSE creates that environment that allows you to gain better insights and share information with like-minded people.
