Whether employee-facing signage, a retail storefront or a highway billboard, you need to create memorable experiences. How can digital signage make the ‘customer’ feel special? I’m always looking for innovations and/or magical technological combinations that will take content, software and hardware strategy and fine tune to the core audience base and make their experience awesome and measured. People encounter hundreds, if not thousands of things a day. Why are some indelibly imprinted? Why do others vanish like a web pop-up? Innovations in helping the customer to pay attention, determine/measure how much they are paying attention, and then learning what is novel and interesting to each of them before measuring emotions would all help provide better experiences.
