As exterior LED displays become appropriate for more and more applications, what kind of innovation do you see on the horizon in terms of reinforcing your brand?”
We are already seeing and doing some new things as LEDs become easier to acquire. We have recently opened a new state-of-the-art arena, and an external portion of the building has a LED media mesh that is see through when not on. This mesh typically shows upcoming events, but we will be utilizing it for special content leading up to an event. For fight events, we plan to put up social media voting polls to get the crowd engaged as they enter the arena. They will be able to vote for the fighter they think will win and the mesh-voting poll will react as votes are cast. This goes in line with a lot of our plans for large LED-type displays as they typically are in high-profile areas. We want to keep our guests engaged, and this helps in front desk areas where there is potential for long lines checking in during peak times and event dates. Our company has a new marketing campaign that is “We are the show,” and this really points to that as we utilize these as show pieces.
