As exterior LED displays become appropriate for more and more applications, what kind of innovation do you see on the horizon in terms of reinforcing your brand?”
Many trade show exhibitions are held outdoors or in a tent environment, where digital signage is not effective or practical. At the EAA Airventure held in a giant field in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, 500,000 people come for a week to talk general aviation, show off their planes and generally have fun. Most fly to the event and park in the field. Displays are subject to mud, rain, sun and lots of kids.
At the Farnborough International air show just outside London, more than 1,000 exhibiters from around the world display their aerospace equipment and services to nearly 300,000 attendees. Exhibitors spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to build exhibits in several large, sturdy tents, where lighting is overly bright and the rain often sloshes through the aisles in torrents.
Exterior LED displays will change the way that companies exhibit in such environments, providing robust, weather-resistant and ultra-bright solutions for messaging and lead generation. This will reduce costs, increase attraction and improve overall effectiveness.
