As exterior LED displays become appropriate for more and more applications, what kind of innovation do you see on the horizon in terms of reinforcing your brand?”


What is particularly exciting about the innovations quickly ramping up in the LED display world are the advances in size and resolution. Things are getting bigger and clearer.  I recently attended a U2 concert where I saw what was easily the largest LED display that I had ever seen. This was for an event with more than 100,000 people where the display was around twice as wide as the very large stage they were performing on. There’s no doubt that the enormity and clarity of that screen made that concert so much bigger and better than it would have been otherwise—particularly for those unfortunate folks who came later and were way in the back of the venue.

When you see where this technology is going, you can certainly start to imagine a merge between building and display—a living structure or sculpture.  At this point, the creative possibilities are endless.  You can see these things from faraway, and they would be extremely eye-catching and potentially engaging.  I’m seeing a living building or a living statue on Las Vegas Boulevard now!
