As exterior LED displays become appropriate for more and more applications, what kind of innovation do you see on the horizon in terms of reinforcing your brand?”

Most of our signage for the city is informational in nature, and as the displays become brighter, more reliable and suitable for exterior applications, the need for protection from vandalism would increase as the monitors move out of our secure environments. The biggest gains are with places like the airports, harbors and convention center locations where exterior security is available. Those locations have been utilizing exterior displays for many years, and the trend continues. For the city applications, the need for displays is more in line with the hours of service of the respective departments, and most of those displays are behind a window or other enclosure so the exterior capabilities are not as important as the ability to resist filtered sunlight.
