If you could put out an industry SOS, how would you fill in the blanks: CONTENT CREATORS OF THE WORLD, PLEASE STOP WITH THE _______. THE INDUSTRY REALLY NEEDS MORE ________. Why?”


Content creators of the world, please stop with stale content and too much text. The industry really needs more dynamic content. The whole concept of digital signage is meant to capture the attention of people. It’s difficult in this day and age (especially with so many options to reach people with your message) to successfully accomplish your goals with a campaign through boring static displays that tend to be too text heavy.  It’s becoming more evident that, in order to capture the attention of potential customers, you must find ways to make the content engaging for the user. At the Columbus Blue Jackets, we’ve found that the best way to do this is through video content that showcases the emotion of our sport. The Blue Jackets arena is an outlet for entertainment, thus our creative should showcase the excitement and emotion that you will experience at our venue. The days of running a static ad for tickets starting at $$$ and listing out reasons why you should buy our product have given way to more captivating, content-heavy spots.
