With so many flat-panel display options now on the market, what is the best approach to making the best choice for a project?

When it comes down to it, honestly, it’s really about price. If a display can run 24×7 and the purchase cost is under $1,000 U.S. dollars, then we are golden. We build out incrementally, so there are no bulk orders or wholesale deals. Common sense would say to review the longevity, nits, support costs, etc., but the reality is that we buy as we need them. If it breaks, then we recycle it and purchase a new one. Other groups here do it differently since they are working on larger conference-room style projects, but for our internal signage, we stick with known brands and affordability and are less concerned with OLED vs. LED vs. Smart features vs. weight, etc. Our scope narrows the choice field tremendously.
