What do you value most about Digital Signage Expo (DSE), and why do you come back every year and recommend that your peers return as well?”
What I value most about DSE is that the show has been ahead of the curve since the inception of digital signage. When one implements a digital signage network, gets it up and running, there can be a case of tunnel vision. Our company has this habit of being satisfied when things are working. What DSE provides is a connection to the future where we can see and test ways to improve our efficiencies or performance all in one place … and DSE is the only place to do this.
This is also why we return annually to DSE. We have found the most value in having a number of colleagues attend so we can bring home different perspectives and ideas. For us, the opportunity to garner information on this technology in one location with our key staff members has proven essential in keeping our network ahead of the others.
Since we operate a remote network, the hands-on staff members rarely see our finished product in the field, and when they do, it looks fantastic. What DSE gives them is the chance to compare what we provide versus what is available. Now, rather than being satisfied with our end product, our people look ahead to what else it can be. This is why it’s critical for us to have a presence at DSE every year.
