What tips would you give to first-time attendees at Digital Signage Expo?”

As a first-timer at DSE, I advise that you follow three simple rules:

  1. Do your research!  Make sure you understand what exhibitors will be on the floor and what workshops and sessions are available. You need to build an agenda customized to your needs that contains a healthy balance of time spent on the show floor simply exploring as well as attending valuable breakout sessions.
  1. Spend time on the floor! Block out several hours just to wander every inch of the show floor. You want to plan out the priority areas you definitely need to visit depending on your needs, but you’ll be pleasantly surprised that some of the most valuable information or innovations you see may be from a booth that you never planned to visit!
  1. Map out time for the right workshops! These breakout sessions can be very detailed and focus in on niche topics.  Find the ones most relevant to you, and attend at least three at a minimum. This is where you may get one-on-one time with subject matter experts as well as make connections to build your network. Also, it is worth attending at least one roundtable to further connect with other end users who are trying to learn about similar topics. This will help you make connections in the industry!
