In my opinion there are many ways to utilize a digital signage network and measure its success. Some ways include:
Recognition – Some organizations utilize their signage network to recognize excellent employee performance, milestone anniversaries, birthdays, retirements, etc. Publicly recognizing accomplishments is one of many ways to help maintain high employee morale. Employee morale can be measured through surveys and face-to-face conversations.
Information – There’s a saying that, “An informed employee is a happy employee,” and utilization of a digital signage network to ensure your workforce is informed is just smart. If signage is located in high-traffic areas, and spots where employees congregate, the messaging will likely reach its target audience. Information displayed can be anything from town-hall meeting dates to cafeteria menus and PSAs. Providing timely and useful information is another way to maintain a happy team, which can also be measured.
Wayfinding – Utilizing screens to assist customers and guests to navigate office or public venue space will enhance the visitors’ experience. Nothing is more frustrating than being lost when there is no information available to help locate your destination. Repeat business and happy customers is the name of the game for measurable growth.
