What questions do you wish you had asked before you started your first big project?


I would start out by asking if they have appropriate budgets in place to support a digital strategy. Waiting to the end to discuss budgets can sometimes be a disappointment. Having an open discussion at the beginning can actually alleviate stressful situations and perhaps produce better results for all. No one wants to get to the end of a project only to find out it has to be VE’d to the lowest common denominator. Design and build to a client’s budget and build from there. I realize this might not be a conventional way to start the conversation or process, but experience has taught me otherwise…
