The film industry has the Oscars. TV has the Emmys. How does the digital signage industry reward great examples of content?”

Most people like to be recognized for a job well done. However, the manner in which they receive recognition varies. Some achieve recognition through customer response and engagement while others do so through increased sales or better communication for their employees. Still, others get satisfaction through huge social engagement with a particular campaign. But when it comes to awards for content presented from the digital signage industry, there are quite a few.  

Some of the well-known awards are the annual DSE APEX Awards, given to three winners in nine different categories. Two special awards are also given for Installation of the Year and Content of the Year Awards. There are some amazing nominations for these awards, and all are worthy of recognition. Other great examples of how companies can be rewarded for their content are through various write-ups on Sixteen-Nine and on the Daily DOOH, the latter of which has its own Gala Awards, which recognize excellence and promote best practices in the industry.

All in all, there are countless times where great content goes unrewarded, but when it is noticed and submitted to the appropriate person, there is always the chance for industry recognition.
