As a retailer, we’re at an advantage of already creating “paper” content for our stores. We will translate some of this into digital content for our stores with digital assets. We’ve recently been working on translating Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram feeds into something we can use on both large and small displays. Given the right hashtags, it gives many customers the ability to connect socially with our brand in-store as well as connect globally with our brand. We are testing a mix of HTML5 and digital signage providers to assist in deploying this. In this manner, we actually have our customers creating content for us.
