I think VR has a role to play in facilitating increased sales within the retail ecosystem. Using the technology, brick and mortar can now provide a truly immersive shopping experience to customers, giving the physical location a leg up on the online experience and drawing people back into the store. Combined with the right digital signage technology, AR can truly bring the shopping experience to life in ways we only thought possible on The Jetsons. But it’s not for everyone. Time spent developing a solid plan and working with the right technology partner will be key to a successful deployment.
