“What differentiates an exemplary digital signage installation from environmental noise?”

Exemplary digital signage enhances the architecture, space and brand. It doesn’t look like an afterthought or addition. Similar to a good movie vs. a bad movie, special effects become part of the story and are not noticed, and likewise, you don’t see the filter, cables or that it was a spaceship model. The same applies to great signage. Exemplary signage focuses on delivering to the right audience. Is the information noise or hard to digest?  It should be concise and not confusing. If you’re running ads, are they being measured and used in a campaign for your venue? On the back end, exemplary signage is well architected, easy to use and has great support. When exemplary signage goes down, there is a plan, strategy and process. It will look like it is running to the customer and management but that device, display or switch is being replaced according to the service level agreement. Exemplary signage isn’t easy but looks easy to everyone on the outside looking in.
