“What differentiates an exemplary digital signage installation from environmental noise?”


The difference between noteworthy digital media and noteworthy paper media is not all that different. It’s about content, content, content. Certainly, it helps to use bold vibrant colors, animation and images to grab a consumer’s attention and to reinforce you brand.

But the real difference is always the message. The intent should always be to immerse the consumer deeper into the customer experience. Signage should be used to help the consumer to identify with your company’s values and mission—to help them feel connected to the brand. This creatively sparks the customers’ imagination and helps them to see your brand in a new light—creating a culture that they want to be part of. The techniques for achieving all this are many and are limited only by the content designers’ imaginations coupled with all of the advanced capabilities today’s digital signage has to offer.
