“Holographic projection imagery – is it a fad, or is it here to stay?”


Holograms are “magical” and yet perhaps not quite “real” enough to become a common visual currency.  They resonate in certain dramatic contexts, executing and impacting quite well in those moments.  I expect they could become an everyday language when they find an efficient, functional purpose beyond creating spectacle.  It’s altogether possible and the thought of it makes me giddy for the future. In the end, like all technology, it will earn its right to propagate itself relative to its utility.
