“Could an in-home digital network have ads or is that sacred territory?”

I believe an in-home digital network, in certain geographical areas, will be a reality in the next five years.  Some smart entrepreneurs are certainly working on this right now.  I envision this initiative starts with large apartment complexes where signage is installed in every unit as part of the overall appliance package.  Individuals will receive news, traffic, weather, local information and advertising on the network.  It would obviously be out of the question to have cameras or any type of monitoring device on this signage.  However, if you unplug or deactivate the signage in any way, an additional $48.95 will be added to your rent each month.  If an initiative like this proves to be successful, it could possibly be offered to homeowners at no cost with an agreement for a certain length of time.
