“What are three things you believe will be dramatically different in the digital signage market five years from now?”
- Digital screens are going to get wider/bigger (just like TVs did), and the resolutions will continue to improve. Hopefully, “cost” will come down as technology improves and volume increases
- Kiosk digital ordering stations will be the new norm, instead of having cashiers, including transparent screens that are interactive/touchscreen for retail applications (fronts of display cases, restaurant use for order pick-up)
- Video walls will replace common art décor in restaurants
- Digital menu boards will recognize your face and confirm the reservation (or pick up order) that you made via your phone app.
