“When you have multiple assets that are viewable at the same time do you sync your displays such that they change together? If not, why not?”
There are many situations where I have multiple assets that are viewable at the same time. Their distance apart is what determines what type of distribution amp (DA) is used. For example, distances 50 feet or less use an HDMI DA. In some cases, multiple DAs are used for one installation. For longer runs, like what I have in my cafeteria where there are eight displays, I use a COAX DA connected to transmitters/receivers. Synchronizing displays becomes very important when streaming a live or taped webcast, especially for sound quality.
