“How many displays are enough in any given venue, and when is it too much?”


While display count is commonly discussed, WHERE to put your displays and WHAT to put on them is equally important. Carefully selecting display location will maximize screen views and help you understand how to best approach your content efforts.

One thing we do at ClockNine is an in-depth technology scout. During technology scouts, we work with our clients to evaluate venue layout, identify high-traffic zones and approximate dwell time. These types of data points are valuable as we discuss number, location and size of displays. From this research, we generate a prioritized list of potential locations and associated costs.

Another option better suited for more elaborate build outs is VR testing. VR testing allows you to create virtual spaces and run user tests to gather insights, improve and optimize floor plans. 

This type of research is great because it allows you to make data-driven decisions through a human-centered design study. Leveraging this type of technology lets you test multiple layout configurations and the overall experience of you project before shelling out the big bucks. Doing so can help avoid expensive mistakes.
