“What are some of the ways to get employees involved in generating content (or content ideas) for a digital signage network?”

–          Social Media: If the content strategy allows for it, pulling user-generated (and/or employee generated) social content can be a fun source that is inclusive, and less work for content creators. It requires some moderation and filtering of course!

–          Contests: Have some friendly competition among teams or groups to see who comes up with cool designs or ideas for messages/content. The ‘win’ or payoff could be as simple as having the best work published, or there could be incentives (gift cards, team lunch, etc.).

–          Work with leaders of teams, and see if they can each ‘own’ a specific recurring piece/message that their team would update on an ongoing basis. A department would be responsible for specific types of messages or creative relevant to their area.
