“What digital signage strategy is over-hyped and why?”


As of this writing, I feel that 3D imagery has been over-hyped.  It is a very cool looking technology, but the cost of implementation, the limitations of possible placements, and the payoff doesn’t cover the total cost of creation, testing, and placement. Also, the final output really doesn’t lend itself to greater awareness, call to action, or sales.
