“Which market segment is the one that is totally saturated with digital signage five years from now? (Is there a market where the gold rush is over and every new opportunity has been already taken?)”

I think retail is a market that will be totally saturated in five years with digital signage. All aspects of retail will have some form of digital signage. You can see it already in fast food restaurants. Walk in to any place and you’ll see digital menu boards, kiosks, tabletop screens and even ordering boards. Every aspect of that process has already shifted to digital signage. Now with VR technology growing rapidly, the entire shopping experience as we know it will be altered. In five years, you may not even have to leave the house to see how different clothes will look on you. And, if you do go into a store, screens that know your shopping history and preferences will greet you and can make recommendations for you.
