“Which market segment is the one that is totally saturated with digital signage five years from now? (Is there a market where the gold rush is over and every new opportunity has been already taken?)”

I predict that digital signage will be oversaturated in the restaurant industry within five to 10 years. This includes signage from TVs to kiosks to video walls. As a general rule, the restaurant industry has been at the back of the line when it comes to embracing digital innovation. We are now in the throes of it with menus and self-service experiences all relying on digital signage technology. Because of the velocity of investment, most of the big restaurant brands will have completed this transformation in a few more years. However, opportunity will still abound as new and emerging technologies continue to disrupt the digital signage industry.
