“What are the top two things that concern you the most about your digital signage network and why?”
There are two things that we keep a constant watch on:
- Product Lifecycle Management – CapEx on the electronic digital signage equipment is very heavy. All electronics products have a “lifecycle.” We constantly monitor field performance of our hardware to understand systemic failures to ensure we are not hitting against any particular SKU lifecycle end times. This would mean a rather large CapEx allocation for field replacements (and associated OpEx field services).
- Content Engagement and Relevance – Our digital signage needs to constantly stay fresh and relevant. It is very easy for digital signage equipment to blend into the background and become irrelevant. We constantly innovate in content to ensure continued engagement and relevance.
