In what ways have you been able to exploit your existing digital signage network beyond the original business objectives to provide greater benefit than originally promised?

My experience around this has more to do with utilizing the technology platform beyond what it was implemented to deliver than it does with having enhanced experiences within existing displays or signage.

First and foremost, we have been able to stand up a number of tests and proofs-of-concept for other digital initiatives in-store, without having to build a new end-to-end delivery and management solution. We have also used the platform to deliver digital experiences at our corporate headquarters, which have a much different purpose and feel from guest-facing retail displays.

On the back end, we’ve used our content delivery infrastructure to deliver large files to stores for our IT partners when traditional network bandwidth was not available.
