“What was your biggest takeaway from DSE 2018?”
My biggest takeaway from DSE 2018 was how much data collection and analysis is going to be a huge part of the future. The DOOH side of the industry is embracing it and looks like it will be the leader of this technology, but I see retail and other avenues of digital signage moving in this direction as well. We are looking at collecting information to target consumers outside of retail environments so that campaigns can be targeted to the best option of viewers to buy that product. It also helps when an advertiser is looking to advertise somewhere where they can see historical data on who has the best option to see their advertisement.
