Captivate, North America’s largest digital video office network, continues its momentum in the Canadian market with a rapidly expanding portfolio, adding more than 60 new buildings to the network over the past year. By securing high-profile buildings, the company has successfully increased the number of Captivate screens in Canada and has doubled its building count in Vancouver. In addition, Captivate inked an agreement with Cadillac Fairview, one of the largest managers of commercial real estate in Canada. As part of the agreement, Captivate will be their exclusive supplier of digital office media.
Delivering relevant news and information to a valuable audience of modern professionals during the workday has been the company’s top priority. Now, with the addition of multipurpose displays, Captivate continues that connection with this audience even beyond the elevator. These large format screens are set in areas of congregation throughout office buildings, such as lobbies, conference spaces, security desks and tenant suites, for guaranteed viewership.
“Our number one goal this past year was to deepen our partnerships and expand Captivate’s reach among high quality buildings in Canada,” said Barb Huggett, General Manager of Captivate Canada. “We now have more buildings in our portfolio than ever before and are on pace to exceed our current growth plans. With additions like multipurpose screens and the expansion within Cadillac Fairview’s portfolio, Captivate continues to innovate and is poised for tremendous growth in Canada.”
“We’re pleased to expand our partnership with Captivate and extend their reach within our office properties across Canada,” said Jodi Clare, Senior Director, Business Growth and Partnerships, Cadillac Fairview. “Through our partnership, we’re able to deliver a first-class experience that’s consistent in each cab and in each region.”
Captivate’s future footprint includes a number of high-profile projects currently in development including CIBC Square, The Well, 2 Dundas St. W. and 16 York. Many of these projects will be the headquarter location or office extension for marquee brands like Microsoft, Shopify, HSBC, TD, CIBC, AGF and more, further increasing Captivate’s engagement with modern professionals during the workday.
