Cinemex Taps Christie Experiential Network and Allure for Digital Signage

The Christie Experiential Network (CEN), leaders in immersive and experiential digital out-of-home (DOOH) solutions, and Allure, a Christie Digital Systems USA, Inc. company, have announced the deployment of their fully integrated digital lobby platform at CMX Brickell City Centre in Miami, the first U.S. site for the Cinemex theatre chain, the world’s sixth largest.

The deployment offers CEN’s cutting-edge technologies that include content management, advertising sales, and enhanced software solutions for interactive lobby displays, food and beverage, digital box office and auditorium signage.

CEN, the world’s first experiential media network in theaters, will manage a broad range of dramatic displays including an LED Super Wall (36-feet wide by 12-feet high) driven by Christie’s Spyder X20 platform. Allure, the industry leader in innovative digital solutions for box office, concessions and directional displays, will drive the installation and software platforms for the CMX box-office and food and beverage displays.

“Entering the U.S. market has been an important milestone for our brand, and Miami’s new Brickell City Centre presented itself as the perfect location to make our debut,” said Carola Fernandez, marketing director of CMX. “We’re excited to partner with Allure and CEN not only to continue our initial expansion efforts to nine new locations across the country, but also to further enhance CMX’s VIP cinema experience among moviegoers in the U.S.”

Added Kevin Romano, EVP global media at CEN, “We are thrilled with our exclusive agreement to deploy CEN’s interactive lobby advertising network with CMX as they expand their circuit into the top 15 DMA’s in the U.S., rounding out Christie’s OOH National footprint for our advertising clients and their agencies. Brickell City Centre’s digital lobby sets the stage for a memorable customer journey with mobile engagements and dynamic video as their customers relax in a club-like atmosphere.”

“This partnership illustrates deployment of CEN’s innovative, immersive and engaging solutions for discerning cinemagoers,” said Craig Chapin, president at Allure. “Our breathtaking video walls, digital movie posters and digital content provide an ultimate experience while driving customer engagement and loyalty to another level. We are also pleased that CMX tapped into our digital solutions in this crucial step towards their international expansion.”
