TORONTO, ON – MARCH, 2020 … As much of the city, province and country are glued to local media, one Toronto media company is proactively enabling condo management companies to communicate vital COVID-19 information to their residents. MaxTV Media, a Canadian provider of condo-based digital notice boards is offering 100 of their screens to be placed in Ontario condos, free of charge for the duration of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

“COVID-19 is an unexpected, worst-case scenario for Toronto condo managers and boards,” said Erik Kehat, CEO of MaxTV Media. “The COVID-19 information is changing not just daily, but hourly and it’s nearly impossible for condo managers to communicate new information without a digital system. We’re happy to provide our screens to enable them to flatten the curve.”

Remote access for COVID-19 updates

The condo-based digital notice boards support emergency communications between condo management and residents. The notice boards can be remotely accessed so that condo management can quickly update residents, even if the manager is working from home or can’t access the condo building. Residents can also quickly and easily access COVID-19 information on all their devices from a unique URL designated for each condo building.

Free digital promotion during a painful time for restaurants

In addition to offering condo corporations and management companies the ability to instantly enhance communication, information and essential COVID-19 updates to their condo residents through their digital screen network, MaxTV Media is also offering Ontario restaurants and bars free advertising space on the company’s digital screen network of 1700 digital screens. With these free ads, they can target local residents with special offers and incentives to mitigate business losses during this difficult time.

In addition to the 100 new screens that MaxTV Media is offering free to Ontario condos, there are 1700 existing screens across Ontario in major neighbourhood markets including:

  • Downtown Toronto

  1. restaurants are going through a rough patch for sure. It’s a really nice initiative by the toronto media company for donating 100 communication screens. Businesses need these sorts of free marketing more than ever in these rough times.i hope everything gets back to normal soon so that people can do what they were meant to do and not become so stagnant.
