Digital Signage Day and LAVNCH WEEK Bring Industry Events to You

The global spread of COVID-19 and the coronavirus has impacted all of our social and professional lives like few things in history. Business communications, conferences, continuing education sessions and a majority of other daily transactions have in fact necessarily shifted from in-person formality to the online world as we all cope with quarantines and remote work routines. But our industry has more potential than most to use and benefit from the opportunities presented by virtual technology. And in that spirit of making the most of the given situation, THE rAVe Agency and Zoom are bringing you a live, five-day virtual event focused on AV education, aimed at both integrators and end users alike.

Kicking off April 27, 2020, LAVNCH WEEK is like having a webinar, a new product launch event and a conference all in one, with each day of the week focusing on a different topic, and Tuesday, April 28 is Digital Signage Day! In partnership with Digital Signage Expo (DSE) and the Digital Signage Federation, LAVNCH WEEK’s Digital Signage Day will include three main events, all dealing at least in part with how to handle the challenges and changes presented by the coronavirus situation.

The first is a Keynote entitled COVID-19 Market Reactions and Forecasts in AV, Digital Signage and Advertising, and it will be presented by PJ SOLOMON’s Managing Director and Head of Media & Tech Services Mark Boidman. This important session will analyze the status and trends of the digital and media industries, including current challenges and potential opportunities post-crisis and for the future. The second, entitled Programmatic Essentials for Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) and presented by two executives from Prohaska Consulting, will focus on harnessing and demystifying programmatic advertising for one of the fastest growing industry verticals in our new digital ecosystem. Lastly, Digital Signage Day will close with a panel discussion entitled Leveraging Digital Signage in Times of Crisis, which will featured five industry luminaries and be moderated by DSE’s Conference Director Helen Kang.

After these three sessions, attendees of LAVNCH WEEK will be introduced to new products (all launched within the last 90 days) aimed at digital signage installs. All this is just a taste of what will be seen, discussed and presented at Digital Signage Expo in Las Vegas, now rescheduled for September 15 through September 18, 2020.
