Atlanta – Digital Signage Expo (DSE), the world’s largest international trade show and educational conference dedicated to digital displays, interactive technology and digital communications networks, announced today that its Digital Signage General End User Seminar Program at DSE 2018 designed specifically for end users, will feature an hour-long keynote titled, “Making Places: Designing for the Non-Traditional Digital Canvas.”
On Wednesday, March 28 at 8 a.m., Michael Schneider, Senior Designer for ESI Design, will present a session that will discuss how to navigate both architecture and content when designing for this world of non-traditional media canvases. Schneider will highlight case studies of his recent projects that have captured the public’s attention and imagination and reveal how non-traditional digital displays are reshaping the future of interior spaces and design.
“Nowadays, when you walk into an office, building lobby, or store that’s filled with static imagery, it can feel passive or isolated,” said Schneider. “This session will explore how we now live in a world where the public expects well-designed spaces to be dynamic, delightful, and relevant. We’ll look at innovations like motion activated media walls, dynamic media that wraps around columns, lighting that changes with the direction of the sun, and other innovations customized for the specific experience of architectural space.”
Registration for the DSE Wednesday, March 28 session, “Making Places: Designing for the Non-Traditional Digital Canvas,” or any of the DSE 2018 educational conference seminars, which are sponsored by BroadSign International and are eligible for Digital Signage Expert Group (DSEG) certification renewal credits, is available online at www.dse2018.com
