AtlantaDigital Signage Expo (DSE), the world’s largest international trade show and educational conference dedicated to digital displays, interactive technology and digital communications networks, announced today that its Digital Signage Retail Seminar Program at DSE 2018 designed specifically for End Users in the Retail sector will kick off with an hour-long session titled, “Retailers are from Mars; Agencies are from Venus.”

On Wednesday, March 28 at 8 a.m., Todd Hoffman, Senior Manager for In-store Digital Experiences at Staples and Bryan Meszaros, CEO and Founder of OpenEye Global will co-present a session that will explore what it takes to produce tech-enabled shopping experiences that are relevant to customer needs, as well as effective in producing an ROI for the brand. Presenters will also probe into best practices to which retailers and agencies should adhere in order to create successful rollouts and sustainable relationships.

“Saying ‘yes’ to a pilot is easy,” Hoffman said. “But getting to scale is the Holy Grail for both the retailer and partner. The make-or-break has everything to do with the agency-client relationship. Not money. Not metrics. If the partnership is strong, communications honest, and goals aligned, the money and metrics will be there. And a rollout will follow.”

“Brands and agencies that work together as an ecosystem will be triumphant in retaining customers and building brand equity,” said Meszaros. “Those who understand how to collaborate together will always produce greater results versus a singular approach.”

Registration for DSE’s Wednesday, March 28 Retail Keynote, “Retailers are from Mars; Agencies are from Venus,” or any of the DSE 2018 educational conference seminars, which are sponsored by BroadSign International and are eligible for Digital Signage Expert Group (DSEG) certification renewal credits, is available online at www.dse2018.com
