In a landmark move for the Digital Signage Federation (DSF) it has announced that work has started between itself and DSF Europe, an independent affiliate, to extend a raft of benefits and advantages from the USA-based trade body.
The collaboration will include an extension of DSF benefits to European members including discounts, certification, and member only access, as well as access to the Business Climate Index model for the North American market.
Ken Goldberg, chief executive officer of Real Digital Media and chairman of the DSF in 2015, says: “Our collaboration with DSF Europe, while in its infancy, is much more than expanding the Federation’s reach.
“More importantly, it will allow our members worldwide to have exposure and access to more ideas, best practices and industry practitioners that will make us all better at what we do. And that is what the Digital Signage Federation is about.”
The partnership will also see more panellists from DSF Europe at the Monthly Hangout series and more exchange of case studies between the two organisations.
Dirk Huelsermann, president DSF Europe, adds: “DSF Europe was founded from the beginning to drive standardization and foster growth for our industry globally. This organization became the leading independent association for digital signage and digital-out-of-home in Europe.
“Now we think is the right time to reach a broader membership base. We believe this affiliation with the Digital Signage Federation (DSF) is vital to achieving our goal and we are very excited about this relationship.”
