Atlanta – Digital Signage Expo (DSE), the leading conference and trade show for digital display and interactive technology, announced today that its website has won the Web Marketing Association’s “Outstanding Website” WebAward for 2016.
DSE worked with a2z to design and build its new website, which was launched in the fall of 2014 not only to make its navigation more user-friendly, but also to be able to create functionality that better serves the event’s attendees. These included:
- Fully branding the website and making it completely responsive and compatible with diverse browsers and devices.
- Enabling attendees to tap into up-to-date event information, including exhibitor profiles and an interactive event map, as well as smart planning resources.
- Offering an enhanced search capability for conference information.
- Providing secure log-in for exhibitors to be able to access options for enhanced visibility, including DSE’s eBooth options and sponsorship information.
“I want to recognize our internal team, designer and a2z, whose amazing work has resulted in this award,” said Cory Fausz, Communications Manager for Exponation, which produces DSE. “The design offers an excellent user experience and has been positively received by exhibitors and attendees alike.”
The WebAward Competition is open to all organizations and individuals involved in the process of developing web sites for organizations, companies and the government. Websites entered must have been in general use for at least part of calendar year 2015 or early 2016.
WebAwards are granted at three levels in 96 industry categories. Sites that receive the highest average score from the judges within a given industry category are awarded a “Best of Industry” WebAward. Of the remaining entries, if they received a score of 60 or greater out of a possible 70 points granted by the judges, the entry receive the Outstanding Website award. Entries that scored above the average for their industry and 59.9 receive the Standard of Excellence award.
DSE 2017 will open for registration next month.
